Special Sealing Design For Rotary Joints

Conventional rotary joints often utilize standard sealing components-such as O-rings or Stepseals-which frequently fall short in terms of sealing integrity and operational performance, resulting in relatively short service lifespans. To address this, we design the internal sealing structure of each rotary joint specifically to align with the technical parameters specified by the client. Our company employs specialized designers dedicated to engineering these bespoke sealing components. These unique sealing structures are not available for purchase on the open market; instead, they are custom-manufactured by our long-standing international partner suppliers. This specialized sealing architecture effectively resolves common issues such as excessive torque and poor sealing performance in rotary joints. Consequently, our rotary joints have garnered high acclaim both domestically and internationally, marking a significant breakthrough in the global field of rotary joint technology.

Prior to connecting the rotary joint to the associated fluid-conveying pipelines and fittings, the following preparatory steps must be completed:

high-speed rotary joints

Manually rotate the housing of the rotary joint (or use a tool if necessary) to verify that it rotates smoothly and freely; if rotation is stiff or restricted, identify the underlying cause and make the necessary adjustments.

If the rotary joint is equipped with ball bearings and features designated ports for grease injection and drainage, verify that the grease injection port is positioned upward and the drainage port downward. Additionally, inspect the straight-type grease nipple to ensure it has not been damaged or clogged during handling or transport.

Inspect and adjust the positioning of the fluid inlet and outlet pipelines to ensure they align precisely with the corresponding internal channels of the rotary joint and fully comply with the original design specifications.

Install the anti-rotation mechanism and the load-bearing/lifting components of the rotary joint, and adjust the assembly to ensure that the housing and the hollow shaft are perfectly concentric.
